So, as I understand this, after Peter Parker was killed, Cap went to apologize to Aunt May about it. She slapped him and shortly thereafter he retired from The Ultimates.

When The Ultimates first came out I bought every issue and went over them with much enjoyment. At the time I was still actively reading The Authority from Wildstorm Comics and I've got to say I found a number of parallels but it was the stark openness and the realism of the people (not so much heroic as just hardcore) that really grabbed me ( Read more... )
